The flies were so bad that we had to wear fly nets!
Before our hike through the Olgas

We took a 5-hour bus trip from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock (or Uluru, in Aboriginal terms).  Between Alice Springs and Ayers Rock there is one gas station and absolutely nothing else.  Just lots of land!!

We were able to hike through The Olgas and watch the sunset at Ayers Rock.
